We're delighted to announce that our homes at Selborne Park in Alton have been shortlisted for 'Residential Development of the Year' at the South Coast Property Awards 2024.

This award goes to a specific housing development in the region that stands out from the competition. All sizes of development are considered - from small brownfield developments to large housing estates. Judges will be looking for evidence of good design, environmental impact, sustainability, and whether the scheme has overcome unusual challenges and site constraints.

We felt our Selborne Park site was a perfect culmination of everything the judges were looking for when they were considering this award.

Selborne Park was carefully designed to create a community that would support a variety of different house types. By offering a range of properties and styles, we have ensured that every buyer's need is catered for from first time buyers and growing families to downsizers and empty nesters.

It was built in partnership with VIVID, a leading provider of affordable homes and extensive support services in the south of England.

Alton is a historic town with a long history of development stretching back to the Roman period. There are also a variety of landmark and listed buildings which contribute towards the historic character of the town centre. This style was incorporated throughout the development to help it blend in with the surrounding area and have minimal impact on the town's character and style.

Despite the development being a short 5-minute walk to Alton town centre, we have still managed to create a calm semi-rural environment for our homeowners by incorporating open spaces and utilising the existing greenery as well as adding additional trees, hedges and wildlife areas. This makes Selborne Park the perfect option for those looking for a mix of city and country living.
