Bursledon is home to Hampshire's only working windmill, it provides the village with a stunning focal point and a unique sense of cultural heritage. Constructed in 1814, Bursledon Windmill was reopened in 1991 after falling into dereliction some years before and now attracts visitors from miles around.
The last miller, George Gosling, kept the sails turning between 1872 and 1907. So, in order to respect the village's rich history while continuing its fascinating story, we've named our new housing development after him. Read More »
