Pagham Planning Permission Granted

We are thrilled to share that we have received reserved matters approval for a new development in Pagham, West Sussex. Covering an area of approximately 42 acres, the site will deliver 350 new homes for the area, comprising both family homes and apartments. This is a fantastic site in a desirable location and we are eager to get started with construction to deliver high quality properties for future buyers across West Sussex.

The new development will introduce several character areas, using enhanced materials that will help the site to respect the existing character of the local area. As well as the carefully designed residential areas, the site also includes over 13 acres of green and open space. With a circular path navigating the edge of the development and walking trails across West Sussex nearby, residents will be able to enjoy countryside style living whilst still being in close proximity to various shops and other amenities. At Foreman Homes, our aim is to build communities that will grow with the residents for years to come and so we will also be constructing multiple play areas and trails for families to enjoy.

Located just a short walk from Pagham Harbour and Nature Reserve, a great deal of care has been taken with the design and planning of the development to ensure we can create a community that benefits from, but also respects the local area. One way that we're aiming to accomplish this is through significant tree planting and landscaping, including the introduction of a community orchard. A portion of the planting has been carefully located and strategically positioned to obscure the view of the site from Pagham Harbour, preserving the natural beauty of the local area.

We are also pleased to be able to announce that we will be partnering with VIVID, a leading provider of affordable homes and extensive support services in the South of England, having worked with them across a number of our developments previously to provide support and customer care for our affordable home customers.

Our Land and Planning team, led by Andy Gibbs, has been diligently working on this planning permission alongside Jon Gateley of Savills. We're delighted to see it come to fruition and looking forward to sharing more updates with you in the future.
