We are thrilled to announce that just before Christmas, Foreman Homes received reserved matters approval for a development of 300 new homes in Climping which made for a very welcome present. It is a landmark development that we are excited to take to the next level and looking forward to starting on the site.

With an area of approximately 21 hectares, the land is predominantly flat, partly bordered by mature trees and just a short walk from the Climping's scenic shingle beach and local award-winning inn and restaurant, the Oystercatcher. Sitting in a beautiful part of West Sussex and due to several nearby buildings being of historic value, we have sought to introduce an architectural theme and palette of materials to ensure the development and its homes are in keeping with the local characteristics.

In addition to the 300 new homes that will be made up of family houses and apartments – we will also be delivering enhancements to the road network plus extensive landscaping on the site with plenty of well-equipped play spaces (ranging from trim trails right up to large fully equipped areas of play) and significant tree, shrub and hedge planting – all of which will help this development to grow as a community.

We are also pleased to confirm that we will once again be partnering with VIVID, a leading provider of affordable homes and extensive support services in the South of England, having worked with them across a number of our developments previously to provide support and customer care for our affordable home customers.

This proposal has been many years in the making, but it is also one of which we are exceptionally proud. We hope that the development will be one that Climping and its residents can enjoy for generations to come.
