CUSTOMER CARE ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic person to join our busy Customer Care Team.

Working 12pm to 5pm Monday to Friday, the successful applicant will assist the Customer Care Co-ordinator with the day to day running of the department.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Assist with written correspondence on behalf of the Customer Care Team in accordance with instructions
  • Create new departmental files, update and maintain a central filing system, including dead-filing
  • Answering, screening and directing calls received by the department when required.
  • Assist with the management of departmental diaries.

It is essential that the post holder has a good eye for detail and should be computer literate, conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel.

SALES ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking to recruit an experienced, confident and enthusiastic person to join our growing Sales Team.

Working 9am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the successful applicant will assist the Sales Manager with the administrative side of the Sales Department.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Answering, screening and directing calls received by the department
  • Arranging of internal and external meetings
  • Preparation of written correspondence .
  • Assisting with the management of the departmental diaries.
  • Creation of new departmental files, as well as updating and maintaining a central filing system, including dead-filing

Key Skills should include:

  • Excellent administration experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good eye for detail

FINISHING FOREMAN

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finishing Foreman to join our busy on site Construction Team.

The successful applicant will be a key member of the team dedicated to efficiently producing a good quality product, by assisting with the management of the day to day building processes.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Assist with the management and development of direct reporting staff.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate the construction work programme in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
  • Understand and translate the site plans and planning requirements to ensure construction meets regulations and plans.
  • Oversee the delivery of building supplies and services to the site to safely maintain the site programme.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety regulations relating to the site are adhered to; ensuring that through effective management the site is a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that Quality Assurance is maintained to Group Standards, including general cleanliness/maintenance of the site, behaviour and the finished built product.

Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar residential construction based role and hold relevant Health and Safety certification.

PLANNING OFFICER

Our busy Planning Team are seeking to recruit an experienced Planning Officer

Answering to the Planning Director and Planning Manager, the successful applicant will provide key support, appraising sites, making planning applications, assisting with the planning process management and compliance within the organisation.

It is essential for the post holder to be computer literate and conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Manage the submission of pre-approval applications to Local Planning Authorities; arranging meetings with them as appropriate.
  • Compile Planning applications, conditions and appeal documentation for submission to Local Panning Authorities, including research as necessary on prior planning history of sites
  • Collate and maintain evidence from Public Consultation Meetings where the planning process requires it.
  • Negotiate, obtain quotations from and instruct external engineers and planning consultants, and assist in the evaluation of their use by the group.
  • Raise purchase orders and cheque payment requests for authorisation and payment of consultation services.
  • Assist in the production of planning sketch schemes.
  • Organise and maintain office work systems including ensuring the planning racks and computer records are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain an up to date record of Local Planning Authorities' planning policies and local plan reviews for internal reference.
  • Attend Planning Committee Meetings, Rights of Way Panels and Public Consultation Meetings to represent the Group.

Experience in a similar role is essential. A degree in town planning or similar is desirable, although "hands on" experience is equally welcome.

APPRENTICE PLANNING TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Planning Technician to join our Planning team.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the successful applicant will be a key member of the team and must have the personality to confidently undertake an array of tasks under the guidance of the experienced team members. They will also have the opportunity to make use of the excellent support and training provided by the organisation in order to gain the qualifications required to become a Planning Assistant.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Assist in the submission and management of successful planning applications.
  • Aid in the management and submission of pre-application submissions to local planning authorities, arranging meetings when required.
  • Attend public consultation meetings, collating and maintaining evidence when required.
  • Assist in the production of planning sketch schemes.
  • Offer administrative support to the Planning Department

It is essential for the post holder to be computer literate and conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel.
