Legal Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit an organised Legal Assistant to join our busy Land Team.

Reporting to the Assistant Land Manager, the successful applicant will assist with the legal aspects of Land Acquisition for the group and will be an integral part of the team.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Assist with the co-ordination/management of legal correspondence in respect of land acquisition agreements, planning obligations and build contracts.
  • Undertaking due diligence for sites; Read and summarise legal/planning documentation in relation to potential sites, highlighting any extra costs or issues which could affect the viability of the site.
  • Work closely with Housing Associations and Social Housing providers in the preparation, progression and completion of land sales and build contracts.
  • Prepare and present legal handover files containing relevant site information.
  • Prepare correspondence, documents and enclosures as applicable ready for signature and checking
  • Keep accurate records of contracts, key dates, and monitor to ensure compliance

Site Operative – Forklift Operator

We are currently looking to recruit a Site Operative to join our site based Construction Team based at one of our sites in Andover, Hampshire

Responsible to the Site Manager and Project Manager, the successful applicant will provide building support and general labouring on the site.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Assist the Project/Site Manager to ensure that building materials and resources are available to meet the construction programme.
  • Provide Forklift driving to assist in the smooth running of the site.
  • Monitor Forklift and other equipment to ensure maintenance in good order and report problems to Line Manager,

It is essential the post holder has an appreciation of the health and safety process pertaining to the construction industry. They should also possess relevant Forklift (rough terrain) and CSCS certification.

Technical Design & Civils Manager

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Technical Design and Civils Manager to join our busy Construction team.

Reporting to the Construction Director, the successful applicant will be a key member of the team, experience in a similar role is essential for this position.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Dealing with Section Agreements
  • Checking Civils Design
  • Ensuring latest regulations are met
  • Assess and advise on SAPS, BREEM and SBD
  • Checking Architects and Engineering Drawings
  • Manage direct team and oversee workload.

It is essential the post holder has an appreciation of the health and safety process pertaining to the construction industry as well as possessing relevant CSCS certification.
