Beech Tree Close, Oakley
Posted: Saturday 20th October 2018
Work has recently started on the ground works of the development and it is hoped that the show homes will be ready around the middle of 2019.
This high quality designed scheme will consist of 85 stylish, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes and 1 & 2 bedroom flats (including affordable housing) with associated landscaping and a large area of open space which will include a kick-a-bout area and even a couple of orchards.
The houses on the development have been carefully designed to reflect the character of Oakley, in particular, the Church Oakley Conservation Area, with a variety of built forms including detached, semi-detached and short terraced houses in various sizes and shapes with attractive building details that respond to the character of the area.
The development will see the use of a variety of materials to compliment the Conservation Area, including a number of different bricks, flint, render, tile hanging and clay and slate roof tiles. We will also be incorporating an element of Flemish Bond brickwork on a few key buildings, a detail that is seen on properties as you drive through Oakley.
