Foreman Homes, Investing in Education

Thursday 14th April Foreman Homes' Director, Karen Spake and Tracy Stimson, PA to the Managing and Construction Directors, attended the EBP (Education Business Partnership) Big Bang event held at The Hilton Hotel, Ageas Bowl.

The Big Bang was created in order to inspire and encourage young people from all areas of Southampton, Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire to study Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Our world needs creative, imaginative and innovative scientists and engineers; this event could be the catalyst for many young people to start their educational and career pathways in STEM-related subjects.

Through shows, workshops and hands on activities, young people experienced the fascinating world of STEM. With chemistry, computer science, engineering, construction, telecommunications and many other areas on display it was an event full of discovery.

Foreman Homes were proud to be involved with this successful event, and our "Krypton Factor" style large puzzle proved a big success with the students, we look forward to supporting similar events in the future.
