Our fundraising finale for Sands 💜

February 2, 2026

At Foreman Homes, supporting meaningful causes has always been close to our hearts, so we’re incredibly proud to look back on a fantastic year of fundraising for Sands, the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby loss charity.

When we chose Sands as our charity partner, we set ourselves a goal of raising £5,000 for this amazing cause. Sands does vital work supporting bereaved families, campaigning for safer maternity care and helping to save babies’ lives, making it a charity that means a great deal to so many people.

Thanks to the incredible support of our team, partners, customers and wider community, we didn’t just hit our target – we smashed it, raising an amazing £7,327 in total.

We kicked things off with a charity quiz night hosted at our office in March, bringing together team members from Foreman Homes, DF Groundworks, FBR Recruitment, Encompass Surveys and Ludlow Trust. This marked the first of our regular quiz nights this year and brought a healthy dose of competitive spirit to the cause.

Alongside our quiz nights, our team got involved in plenty of other fundraising activities throughout the year – from office bake sales and raffles to dress-up days and other collections – all helping to boost our total and keep the fundraising momentum going.

In November, we wrapped up the year with our Big Pub Quiz, bringing colleagues, partners and friends from across the construction and property world together for a great evening of laughs, friendly competition and fundraising.

Our team also took on some impressive personal challenges along the way. Back in April, Billy and Ben laced up their boots and climbed Snowdon, raising money and awareness with every step. Then, in September, Matt and Andy completed an incredible 100km walk across the South Coast. Both challenges showed just how much effort and heart went into supporting this cause and we couldn’t be prouder.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us this year – whether you donated, took part, shared a post or cheered us on.

Raising £7,327 is something we’re genuinely proud of, but what matters most is the difference it will make. With the support of our amazing community, this fundraising will contribute to Sands’ ongoing work supporting families when they need it most.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026, we’re excited to announce our next charity partner soon and to continue supporting the communities and causes that sit at the heart of what we do.
