This follows a strong recommendation from planning officers and extensive consultation with stakeholders, ensuring a well-considered and thoughtfully designed scheme.
Covering 8.5 acres, the development will bring 120 high-quality homes to the area with 30% designated as affordable housing. The site layout will feature a mix of house types including apartments. The scheme includes open green spaces, a play area, landscaping enhancements, and the retention of key natural features, maximising views of the Hermitage Stream and surrounding countryside while complementing the character of the existing residential areas.
Following the imminent completions of the Section 106 agreement, we will progress the reserved matters submission to finalise the details of this exciting project. This will enable us to deliver a vibrant and sustainable new community in this sought-after location.
