Meet The Team

October 29, 2025

Our team of skilled, experienced, professional and dedicated staff members are committed to delivering not just a house but a home to over 300 families a year.

Today we’re introducing you to our Land Manager, Jonsun.

Let’s find out more about him;

What attracted you to work at Foreman Homes?

A few things really attracted me to Foreman Homes. Being a privately owned, family-run company means decisions can be made quickly, which allows for flexibility and an entrepreneurial approach that really appealed to me. I also liked that we’re locally based and developing in areas I know well – it’s rewarding to see the real impact of our projects in the community.

What really sold it for me was meeting Andy, our Land and Planning Director. He struck me as someone I’d genuinely enjoy working with and for, and hearing about his career progression showed me the kind of growth that’s possible here at Foreman Homes.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

My favourite thing about the job is how people-focused it is. I really enjoy the networking and meeting new people – most of the people I know in the industry I’d now consider friends. Building those good relationships makes the job much more enjoyable.

Describe Foreman Homes in 3 words?

Friendly, thriving and beneficent.

If you could swap jobs with anyone else in the business, who would it be and why?

I’d say Spencer, our Sales & Marketing Director, because I really enjoy valuing properties. Since my role focuses more on the front end of the development cycle, it would also be great to experience the other side – being involved in the final stages and seeing people move into their new homes.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever received is: “If you don’t fail or make mistakes, then you’re not learning.”

It reminds me that failure isn’t something to fear – it’s part of growth. Every mistake teaches you something new and pushes you to adapt and improve. This mindset turns setbacks into opportunities and focuses on progress, not perfection.

What do you think is the most important skill you bring to your role?

Every project comes with its own challenges, and I enjoy finding practical, creative solutions to move things forward. I especially like working on sites that don’t initially ‘stack’ – identifying what’s not working, rethinking the approach, and uncovering smarter alternatives. It’s not always straightforward, but that challenge is what makes the work rewarding.

What’s something you can’t get through the day without?

Easy one, probably a common answer: coffee or anything caffeine-related.

What’s the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery?

A very very long holiday somewhere warm.

Do you have a hidden talent?

Not sure if it’s much of a talent but I can handstand walk.

Finally, which Foreman Homes house would be first on your list to buy?

I’m really excited about some of the new properties we’re building on our Shore View development in Portchester. The houses are beautifully designed with modern finishes, open layouts and plenty of natural light – all perfectly positioned to make the most of the stunning coastal views.
