Meet The Team

August 22, 2025

Our team of skilled, experienced, professional and dedicated staff members are committed to delivering not just a house but a home to over 300 families a year.

Today we’re introducing you to our Assistant Site Manager, Billy.

Let’s find out more about him;

What attracted you to work at Foreman Homes?

I was looking for a company to start my construction career in and Foreman Homes had a great reputation in the local area. They had some good career opportunities available and a clear chance to progress in the industry.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

When I see one of our residents after they have moved in and they let me know how happy they are with their new home. It feels like a great sense of achievement to stamp my name on a good quality property that will make such a difference.

Describe Foreman Homes in 3 words?

Supportive, Focused and Responsible

If you could swap jobs with anyone else in the business, who would it be and why?

James Waddington, one of Foreman Home’s Build Managers – the progression for me in my career would be moving into a Build Manager role, which is exactly where I want to be in the future.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“You get out what you put in.”

That stuck with me, because it applies to every part of life and work. If I put in the effort, stay consistent and take pride in what I do, the results will follow.

What do you think is the most important skill you bring to your role?

People skills – being able to build relationships with contractors on site and residents is crucial to being able to do my job. I treat everyone with the same level of respect ensuring that communication stays open, issues are dealt with constructively and the project runs smoothly.

What’s something you can’t get through the day without?

Music and coffee – it’s how I start everyday to get me ready for site.

What’s your dream holiday destination?

Travelling South East Asia – I’d love to book a one way flight and spend a few months just exploring with no plan.

If you weren’t doing your current job, what would you be doing instead?

I’d be working abroad as a travel rep – somewhere hot and sunny.

Finally, which Foreman Homes house would be first on your list to buy?

A Nightingale at Maddoxford Gardens – the integral garage gives me secure space for my motorbike and tools and the location is perfect for easy access to Southampton and Portsmouth.
