Following our recent success at the National Building & Construction Awards, we’re proud to announce that Foreman Homes has been named a finalist in the Business in the Community category at the Hampshire Business Awards 2025.
This recognition celebrates something that has always been at the heart of who we are – our belief that building homes also means helping to build communities.
Since our beginnings in 1997, we’ve grown from a family-run business into one of Hampshire’s most respected privately owned housebuilders. For nearly three decades, we’ve worked to create homes that stand the test of time and to support the people, places and organisations that make our towns and villages thrive.
From supporting sports clubs and local events to raising funds for charities that make a real difference, we’ve always seen community involvement as part of our DNA. That belief has guided our approach since day one. Wherever we build, we aim to leave behind more than high-quality homes – we want to help create opportunities for connection, activity and belonging.
We’re proud to partner with clubs such as AFC Portchester, Farnham Rugby Club and Trojans Rugby Club, helping hundreds of adults and young people stay active and connected through sport. These partnerships aren’t just sponsorships; they’re long-term commitments that support the health and spirit of local communities.
Charitable fundraising is another cornerstone of our community work. Over the past three years, our team has raised nearly £17,000 for organisations including Brainstrust, Abby’s Heroes and Sands. From quiz nights and bake sales to marathons and raffles, our staff consistently go above and beyond to support families facing life’s toughest challenges.
What makes our community work authentic is the enthusiasm of our people. Our employees don’t just hear about sponsorships or fundraising – they live them. They show up at matches, run races, sell raffle tickets and attend the events we support. Many do so not as representatives of a company, but as members of the communities they already call home.
Being named a finalist for the Business in the Community Award is an acknowledgment of our long-term commitment to giving back. For nearly thirty years, we’ve been more than a housebuilder – we’ve been part of the fabric of Hampshire life.
We’re proud to be recognised alongside so many inspiring Hampshire businesses who share our belief that strong communities are the foundation of a better future.
