Congratulations to the team at our Toynbee development, winners of our Annual Health & Safety Award.
Presented by our Health and Safety Manager, Chris Turner, this internal award recognises sites that consistently demonstrate excellence in health and safety, alongside a strong commitment to training, development and best practice.
The Toynbee development is being delivered in partnership with VIVID, a leading provider of affordable housing and support services across the South of England and will provide much-needed social and shared ownership homes for the local community.
Led by Site Manager Keith Woodley and supported by Assistant Site Manager Rik Gale, the team has shown outstanding dedication to creating a safe, well-managed and professional working environment.
Throughout the year, they have maintained a proactive approach to health and safety, encouraging open communication on site and ensuring high standards are upheld at every stage of the build. Their consistent focus on teamwork and accountability has played a key role in achieving this recognition.

“Each year, the winner of the Site Health and Safety Award sets a high standard. The guys at Toynbee have set a very high standard and truly deserved this award. I’m so proud to have them working for Foreman Homes.”
At Foreman Homes, health and safety is not a box-ticking exercise. This award reflects the standards we set for ourselves and the culture we work hard to maintain across all our sites. By embedding health and safety into everyday decision-making – from planning through to delivery – we ensure our teams feel supported, empowered and able to work safely.
A big well done to Keith, Rik and everyone on site. This is a well-earned recognition of your hard work and professionalism, but it’s your commitment to keeping each other safe that truly sets you apart.
Keep up the fantastic work and continue setting the standard for health and safety across all our developments. 👏
