At Foreman Homes, supporting the local communities that surround our developments is at the heart of what we do – which is why we’re proud to sponsor Trojans Rugby Club. Continuing to grow in strength, participation and community impact, we love following their progress on and off the pitch.
As the season reaches an exciting stage, here’s how the Trojans teams have been performing so far;
The Mens 1st XV are sitting top of the league with only one loss so far this season, holding a 9-point lead over second place Farnham 2’s. The Mens 2’s XV secured a convincing win yesterday and continue to show real determination week to week, with a season of mixed results but plenty of promise. It’s fantastic to see so many younger players stepping up to senior rugby and making a genuine impact across both sides.
The Womens 1st XV are competing in a very tough league and, in their first season at this level, are holding their own with hopes of staying up. The Womens 2’s XV remain unbeaten and top of the league following promotion last season – an outstanding achievement by players and coaches alike. Just like the men’s teams, it’s inspiring to see more young women progressing from the girls’ section into senior rugby.
Beyond the results, what stands out most is the club’s commitment to development and inclusion. Trojans Rugby Club provides pathways from junior to senior rugby, supported by dedicated volunteers, coaches and families who give their time to keep the club thriving. Matchdays bring the community together, and the growing youth participation shows a bright future ahead.
