As a Foreman Homes customer, your new home will come with a 10-year warranty – this will cover your new property against structural defects.
The first 2 years of this warranty are covered by both Foreman Homes and your warranty provider, starting from the date of completion. The remaining 8 years are covered by your warranty provider, either NHBC or LABC, depending on when your property was built.

The NHBC are the UK’s leading warranty and insurance provider for new homes. Established in 1936, they set standards for registered builders and work to help them improve the construction quality of the homes they build. This is ultimately for the benefit of homeowners.
They provide inspection services, guidance and training to builders and engage with the industry, the Government and key stakeholders to help shape housing policy and practice. They also provide protection for homeowners through our range of Buildmark warranty products.
The NHBC currently provide warranty and insurance for over 1.5 million homes. Over the course of their history, they have provided warranty for around 30% of the total existing housing stock in the UK.
Their main warranty and insurance product, Buildmark, covers homes from before they are built, providing protection to the home buyer from the exchange of contracts through to the end of the 10th year following legal completion by the first homeowner.
LABC Warranty works in partnership with Local Authority Building Control (LABC) to provide structural warranties for developers, contractors, housing associations and self builders. Our partnership with LABC means we can provide building control and warranties throughout England and Wales using the combined technical expertise of over 3500 surveyors.
Having provided cover for over 10 years we work with some of the largest house builders, commercial contractors and developers in the country. All of our policies are underwritten by ‘A’ rated global insurers, ensuring you and your buyers are protected for the duration of the policy. Our cover is also accepted by all leading UK mortgage lenders helping you and your buyers secure finance easily.
